Adobe Photoshop Brushes: Fog Brushes 10 in set

Once in a while, you might have tried to add a fog effect to your photos. Using a soft brush or cloud effect you might have gotten the effect as you expected after a few trials and errors which is time-consuming.

To simplify the process, use these fog brushes to give a mystic look to your scenes in a few easy steps.

It is quite simple, all you have to do is load the brushes, set foreground and background colors to white and gray respectively.

Set brush settings as per your requirement(scatter, angle, size) and start painting on a new layer.

One more important thing: Use white and gray colors alternatively which will give density and depth to the fog.

Tip: If you are applying this to a character, extract that character from the background, create 2 new layers above and below the character. Apply the fog effect in these two layers to get dynamic depth to the character.

I suggest you watch the following how-to video to get an idea of how to use the brushes.
