Hello friends, this time you will learn to create elongated giraffe in miniature world.
Create elongated giraffe:
Create a new document.
Import giraffe images.
Using “Polygonal Lasso tool” extract the giraffes.(Remember the numbers of giraffes)
Duplicate 4 copies of 1st image.
Now, resize last three images to the height of its next giraffe’s back.
Similarly, add 4 & 2 giraffes in the same order.
Mask the head and neck of the above images.
Now, lets mask first two legs of last 5 giraffes and add them together.
If you look at the white traces closely, you can find they are not completely white . So , to make them white, lets select them using “Magic wand tool”.
Using curves (Ctrl + M), increase the brightness. Or you can fill it with white color in the new layer.
To fix the color differences between the giraffes, use “color balance”(Ctrl + B)
Apply this color balance to all the giraffes.
After color balance, merge all the giraffes into single layer. (keep the back up layers, if you have to make any changes in future).
Here you can see the sharp difference between giraffes due to imperfect blending of white traces.
To rectify this problem, at first remove the white traces using “clone stamp tool (s)” .
Select multiple white traces, copy and paste them in the following way.
Final result must be like this…..
Similarly, do the same process to the rest of the image.
Lets add neck and head of the giraffe 3 (from step-2)
For this, repeat the above steps like ……
- color balance,
- merge neck and head to the rest of the body,
- using clone stamp tool remove the imperfect white traces, copy them from other parts of the body and paste it in the place to get final image like this….
Create the location:
Add grass field in the bottom layer.
Mask the feet to blend with the background.
Lets add sky in the back ground. (place it above the grass field layer)
Now, lets turn the whole scene into a miniature world.
For this, use polygonal lasso tool (feather 50px) and select the following areas of the location.
Go to filter>>blur>>gaussian blur (radius= 4.4 px) to get final image like this…….
I hope, you find this tutorial usefull.
